Totally Enclosed Lifeboat (TELB) designed and built according to SOLAS 1983/96.Classification societies and National Authorities.
The lifeboat is a totally enclosed propelled lifeboat craft (TELB) designed to be launched by cantilevered platform davit or single pivot davit.
The lifeboat hull, superstructure, hatches, buoyant tanks, steering nozzle, water and provision containers are made of fire-retardant glassfibre reinforced polyester (GRP).
The boat is fitted with shock absorbing skates/fenders to provide protection to the inboard side of the craft during launching.
