Totally Enclosed Lifeboat (TELB) designed and manufactured according to SOLAS 1983/96, Classification Society and National Authority requirements.

The lifeboat provides a secure and protected means of escape for persons onboard vessels or platforms. The lifeboat is for launch and retrieval by a suitable davit. Design and construction fulfil the need for reliable, low maintenance standby and operation.

The lifeboat is equipped with hydraulic steering. A steering nozzle gives optimum manoeuvrability and increased bollard pull. Emergency steering is provided.

The steering position is at the aft of the boat. The helmsman has a 360º view and controls the following:
